Why am I Blogging Here?

Hello, anyone out there?

Writing this blog is a way to help me with my weight loss journey. It is a time filled with highs and lows. Some entries will be joyous, or heartbreaking, others will show the humor of this journey. All in all, it is designed to help me, if it helps others along the way ... That is great too!

I have tried every weight loss option out there ... The meal plans, the miracle pills, the crazy food combinations and Weight Watchers. I have come back to Weight Watchers for the last time! I say that, because this weight loss journey is a lifetime commitment and I am committed!

I sit at meetings every week and hear great success stories, I have always just plotted along. Down one week, up the next ... Just like a yo-yo! For those of you that understand Weight Watchers, you know tracking, water intake and activity are the keys! I would do all three of these, just not necessarily at the same time!

That changed last week, kind of ... I made a "bet" with two other WW members ... I have until the end of August to lose 11 pounds. Sounds simple? Yeah right ... but I am committed ... I think?!
